Doug and Külli's Missionary Update

Greetings from Estonia! It has been awhile since our last newsletter so we thought we should update you on what is going on with our ministries especially since the world has changed so much over the last handful of months due to the corona virus.
          On March 12
th, Estonia declared a national state of emergency due to the corona virus. Since that time, every level of school has been closed. All churches were also closed until just a couple of weeks ago. Now they are open with spacing restrictions. The photo above shows Kalev doing one of his many home school assignments. Like many parents in America, we are presently having to home school our three children making sure they do the assignments sent to them by their teachers. Doug has had to relearn some 5th grade math to help Karl! Kulli often feels like home schooling three kids is like living four parallel lives, there are many schedules to keep and many assignments to do. Thankfully Estonia has well developed e-school system. This country votes online, banks online and most of the government business can be taken care of online also. It is sometimes called E-stonia. Still, this is too much right now and we all miss the normal life back.

Easter was different this year and so was Mother's Day and probably the Pentecost will be.  We are all in this together and we pray that God will see us all through this time of trial.
